El sábado 6 de abril se producirá el debut del Campana Boat Club en la categoría F3 de la Asociación Amateur de Hockey. A días del estreno, la jugadora Sofía González analiza cómo llega el equipo a su primer partido oficial.
El equipo de Primera División de hockey del Campana Boat Club afina detalles pensando en su debut en la categoría F3 de la Asociación Amateur de Hockey sobre Césped de Buenos Aires. A poco más de dos semanas de su primer compromiso, en el conjunto de la ribera trabajan con la mirada puesta en el ascenso.
El equipo viene entrenándose desde el 2 de febrero bajo las órdenes del preparador físico Adrián Chistik y del flamante entrenador, Julio Caferatta.
La otra novedad para esta temporada será la del césped sintético, cuya instalación comenzó el pasado 18 de marzo: el movimiento de suelo corre por cuenta de la Municipalidad, mientras que la carpeta sintética fue adquirida por el club con el esfuerzo de la comisión de hockey.
“El equipo está motivado por el tema de la cancha y por la llegada del nuevo entrenador. Hay muchas chicas de Quinta que se proyectan para la Primera, tratando de sumar experiencia y minutos con los partidos amistosos”, manifestó la jugadora Sofía González en diálogo con Campana Argentina.
Boat está afrontando una pretemporada muy movida. Ya enfrentó a San Patricio A y C en dos oportunidades, disputó un cuadrangular contra San Carlos A y B, y Lomas C, y se midió con Sociedad Hebraica y Champagnat C. Además, este sábado chocará con Mariano Moreno. La seguidilla de enfrentamientos le servirá a Caferatta para delinear el equipo titular que saldrá a la cancha el 6 de abril.
Sobre los amistosos disputados, González aseguró que el balance fue positivo. “Hubo un poco de diferencia con los equipos que están en la D, como por ejemplo San Patricio A o San Carlos A, con los cuales perdimos 3-0 y 1-0, sabiendo que nosotras el año pasado descendimos y este año estamos en la F. Pero cuando jugamos con equipos de la misma categoría o de la E, el saldo fue positivo”.
Para la volante del CBC, la defensa “está empezando a hacerse más sólida y las chicas de Quinta y las que este año pasaron a mayores le dan un aire más juvenil a la Primera e Intermedia, lo cual es positivo para todas, sumando la experiencia de otras. Yo creo que hasta el momento el balance es bueno, estamos sumando minutos de juego, que es lo que nos hacía falta”.
Luego de un 2012 “complicado”, todas las energías están puestas en levantar la imagen. El año pasado el Boat finalizó alrededor de la posición 60° en la categoría E y su bajo promedio le costó el descenso a la F.
“Fue un año complicado, al igual que este 2013, porque no tenemos la cancha para entrenar ni jugar, lo cual se hace muy evidente a la hora de jugar los partidos. Entrenamos en el playón del club, que debe medir un cuarto de la cancha real. Este año va a ser igual al año pasado en cuanto a los entrenamientos, salvo que ahora tenemos entrenador y jugamos más partidos amistosos, pero por lo menos hasta mitad de temporada vamos a tener que alquilar cancha (NdeR: jugarán en Luján R.C.), hasta que la nuestra esté lista”, agregó.
Si bien todavía no hay un objetivo definido para esta temporada, González aseguró que “la intención será adaptarnos mejor al sintético, lograr tener nuestra propia cancha y progresar, tratando sobre todo de escalar en la categoría, si no lo logramos de forma directa, ya que hay tres subdivisiones de la F, tratar de ascender en el repechaje”.
Boat Club integrará la zona 3 de la categoría F junto a San Patricio ’C’, Santa Bárbara ’D’, Vicente López ’B’, Pucará ’C’, San Albano ’B’, Liceo Militar, Los Cedros, Los Matreros, Champagnat ’B’, Italiano ’C’, Lanús Atl. ’B’, Belgrano At. ’C’, C.I.S.S.A.B. y Banco Nación ’B’. El debut será el sábado 6 de abril frente a Liceo Militar en condición de visitante.
